I want to use this blog to express my creative outlets. I love to knit and make cards, so I am hoping to show my finished objects here. The first FO of the year is an adorable hat made for a nephew of a guy I work with. I knitted it with Sublime Extra Fine Merino Wool Dk in a smoky blue. Not quite baby blue, but I think its cute. I love the little cables to make it interesting.
I find almost all of my inspiration on Ravelry, I love that website! I also love visiting the ladies at Knitting in the Loop here in Houston. I took a class from them two weeks ago on continental knitting, and it was an absolute blast! I think my next project will be the vintage velvet scarf, shown here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bepod/2428377107/, mine will be dark purple. I also want to make a cashmere cowl.
